South Africa and the (terrible) state of web design
South Africa, many of it's citizen's love this beautiful country and all it's pastimes, yet when it comes to the web it seems that no one cares about the state of it.
Setting up a Lampp Server
To do all our development, designing and testing we use a server on our local machines, this way you can avoid unnecessary bandwidth and time delays. I am using a linux operating system (Ubuntu 810). To develop locally we use Lampp, which is Xampp for Linux. This will create a localhost for all your server requirements.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 - and why we dont support it.
Well, thats not entirely true. We do support IE 6 but at an extra charge.
Internet Explorer 6 turned 7 on August 27th, 2008. 7 years old! In Internet years that is a millennium.
So whats the big deal? If it works, why must I change? We hear your questions, and here are your answers.
