Well it has been a whirlwind ride for us. We remember toasting the great year ahead on the 7th of January and before you realize it, Easter is here.
We are just going to leave you with a few things that are really exciting us.
Well It has been a crazy start for us here, although it's no real excuse for posting on the 23rd we have good reason to.
Things have been changing in the office as we shift our resources to our own website, dedicated to giving something back to the web design community that has helped our business.
More details will be given a bit later as we start blogging more regularly and posting some great tutorials.
To all out there, blessings in your new year.
Till next time.
South Africa, many of it's citizen's love this beautiful country and all it's pastimes, yet when it comes to the web it seems that no one cares about the state of it.
Half of our offices run on Ubuntu Linux and the other half run on Windows. Now this isn't going to be a post on the differences between the two, but rather a post on the problems of version control on Windows and how we overcame it.We have been very busy at the office, getting new clients, working on several projects and still brushing up our own image, we simply didn't have the time or luxury to learn the unnecessarily complicated inner workings of Subversion.
Testing and integration on our 2 latest additions are almost complete.
You can expect to see a "Tutorials" section to the site within the next month.
We decided that we will not only be contributing Tutorials for web developers free of charge to the site, but also tutorials for customers.
This is a very exciting notion for us, as we now put the power of knowledge in the customers hands. Too many times have we spoken to clients and slipped in a technical word like "RSS feed" or "Cache" and just got a room full of wide eyes staring at us.
According to this post over at TechCrunch, Wix has raised a further $3.5 Million.
Wix is a website that offers easy flash content creation without losing SEO. What sparked an interesting discussion in our offices was not the amount of money they have raised, not even their user base (sitting at over 200 000 users) but it was the impressive growth they have shown.
After lots of hard work, we have finally released the latest version of our website.
